The Moda box combines unique characteristics to show off your moda from México in a high-quality leather shoulder and coin purse.
The purse is made from piel de cabra (goat leather), strap is made of piel the toro (bull leather), and the hand made rebozo accent is combined to create a one-of-a-kind experience. They are made with a two-color design that gives the bags a contemporary soft look for any occasion. They come in three colors: silver, red and green.
The purses are made by master artisan Pedro Martinez from Santo Domingo Tomaltepec, Oaxaca.
The design is a MyCajita exclusive, you won’t find this wallet anywhere else and it’s in limited supply.

Zapotecan Shoulder Purse
The shoulder purse features a shoulder strap and convenient magnetic snap closure with plenty of room for your wallet, phone, make-up, and all your necessary accessories. It’s made of full goat hide. It’s conditioned and dyed to its specific color. It’s then hand cut into the various stencil forms and hand glued and stitched to give it a strong binding that will last a lifetime. The rebozo cover is hand-made in the Oaxacan traditional method of tellar de pedal and also cut to form and attached and stitched to the bag. The beautiful Zapotecan design and rich deep colors are a great way to coordinate your outfits and keep you in style as you enjoy the upcoming Spring and Summer days.

About the Artist
Pedro Martinez Robles is a 3rdgeneration Talabatero (leather artisan) from Santo Domingo Tomaltepec, Oaxaca. He and his brother learned from their father and have taken the traditional leather working business and expanded by adding new techniques and designs. His family tellar (workshop) is run by him and his brother, Julio, and their cousins Zuriel Lopez and Abdiel Mariscal. They have perfected combining the local goat and bull leathers of Oaxaca with local handmade textiles and fabrics to make one of a kind pieces that are both a nod to the traditional and something you can use in today’s contemporary world. These Robozo purse combos were exclusively designed and made for MyCajita.
