The napkins are hand woven in a traditional wooden loom by Master weavers in Mitla, Oaxaca. The wooden loom uses foot pedals to move 100’s of strings up and down as the artesano weaves the threads across the loom, back and forth, pedals up and down, slowly weaving each line and design into the beautiful napkins that were created for you.

Mexican Talavera pottery is known throughout the world for its bright colors and contrast. Originally brought to Mexico by the Spanish in the 15th Century. Don Tiburcio Mora started his family Talavera workshop over 50 years ago in Guanajuato, Mexico. It has passed 3 generations and now rests in the hands of his grandchildren, who still create, paint, and bake pottery. Their family workshop supports 20 artesanos and their families.
