ABOUT THE ARTISAN:

Gustavo Rodrigo Ramirez belongs to the Nahuatl tribe, also known as the Aztecs. He speaks Nahuatl and learned to paint from his father, who learned from his father. These clay planters are beautifully painted in the style and tradition of his family and their homeland of Guerrero, Mx.
