HANDCRAFTED TIN NAPKIN RINGS
These napkin rings are hand stamped in the traditional art of hoja de lata. The aluminum is hand cut, carved and every detail is hand stamped into each piece by Master artesano, Cesar Pacheco. La Luna y El Sol, the moon and sun, play an integral role in our culture. They helped our ancestors tell time and seasons, plant crops, and hunt food. They played an important role in myth and lore, and stories passed from generation to generation. MyCajita wanted to pay a tribute to that and use the moon and sun in this concept to remind us that whether it’s a bright sunny day or a moonlit night, we can always gather the family around a meal and share our stories.
